Advertising Networks

Sooner or later bloggers turn to Advertising Networks as a way to create an income for themselves and while there are lots of networks available to help monetize a blog, it should be noted that each ad network has its own unique differences and not every one of them will provide the same results.

Ad Networks are appearing everyday  and it is important to note that some have open enrollment, some are invitation only, yet others have traffic or page view minimums or other criteria

It is also important that you follow their guidelines so do your research ( read their TOS).

Some questions you might want to ask yourself before joining any Ad Network are:

1. Will the Network require that ads be placed above the fold?

2. What ad sizes does the network use?

3. Can I have other ads on my blog and can I still sell my own ads?

4. What are the payment terms?

5. What happens if the Ad Network have no ads to run?

6. Can you control the ads being shown on your blog?

7. What is the term of the contract?

Remember -

Be sure you are not wasting your time..so check the application instructions very carefully before trying to join an Ad Network.
